Third Friday Downtown
This great event, held on the third Friday each month, covers the entire downtown shopping area from 2nd Avenue to Bank Street. Many merchants offer shopping deals and musicians, artists, and more line the streets. This is a family-friendly event! Learn more.
Carnegie Friday @ 5
This monthly member event is held on the third Friday of each month. Attendees can enjoy the museum's newest collections, while socializing with other art lovers. The museum asks for a suggested donation to attend this event and attendees should be 21 years of age or older. Learn more.
Concerts by the River and Movies in the Park
The Decatur Parks and Recreation Department provides free family entertainment each summer from May through September with their Concerts by the River and Movies in the Park events.
Concerts in the Park are held each Monday evening at Rhodes Ferry Park. Performers range from concert bands to local country and rock artists. Learn more.

Farmers Market Events
The Farmers Market in downtown Decatur hold several annual events, including Corn Day (July), Tomato Sandwich Day (July/August), Watermelon Day (August), and Fall Festival (October).
