Vote / Nominate

Digtown needs a mayor and anyone in the city of Decatur, Alabama can nominate themselves or someone else to serve!

Here's how it works:

1. Nominate yourself or a friend to be mayor of Digtown by submitting a name below and why this person would make a great Digtown mayor. You can only nominate one person - so make it count!
2. Toward the middle of the month, three nominees will be selected and an election poll will be posted so everyone can vote for their choice and elect the next Mayor. There will be informational bios for each mayor so you can really get to know the candidates. Don’t worry – no politics are involved. Everyone’s platform is the same: get people downtown to support local businesses!
3. Elected Mayors will serve one month - between November 2011 and March 2012 and will appear in all event advertising materials.
